BeatSync operates entirely on your device and does not collect or transmit personal information to external servers.

1.1 Local Data Processing

• Photos: Photos you select are processed locally on your device using Apple's Vision framework for quality analysis, face detection, and object recognition.
• Music: Music files are analyzed locally using audio processing algorithms to detect beats and rhythm patterns.
• Projects: Your video projects are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to any cloud service.

1.2 Third-Party Services

• Pixabay API: When browsing the music library, the app connects to Pixabay's public API to fetch free music tracks. This connection only transmits search queries and does not include any personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data processing occurs locally on your device:

• Photo Analysis: AI algorithms analyze photo quality, detect faces, and identify objects to create optimal video sequences.
• Beat Detection: Music files are analyzed to detect beats, BPM, and song structure for synchronization with photos.
• Video Creation: Photos and music are combined locally to create your video projects.

3. Data Storage

3.1 Local Storage

• All project data is stored in your device's local storage
• Photos remain in your device's photo library
• Music files are stored temporarily during project creation
• Generated videos are saved to your device's photo library

3.2 No Cloud Storage

BeatSync does not use cloud storage services. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share your created videos.

4. Permissions

BeatSync requires the following permissions to function:

• Photo Library Access: To select photos for your video projects and save completed videos
• Music Library Access: To select music from your device (optional)
• Network Access: To browse free music from Pixabay API (optional)

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.

5. Data Sharing

BeatSync does not share your data with third parties. The only external connection is to Pixabay's public API for browsing free music, which does not transmit any personal information.

6. Children's Privacy

BeatSync does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to be family-friendly and processes all data locally on the device.

7. Security

Since all processing happens on your device:

• Your data is protected by your device's security features
• No data is transmitted over the internet (except optional music browsing)
• Your photos and videos remain private and under your control

8. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete projects at any time through the app
• Remove the app to delete all associated data
• Manage photo and music library permissions in Settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

10. Analytics and Tracking

BeatSync does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not collect usage data or track your behavior within the app.
