Forge AI integrates with Apple HealthKit to access the following health information:

• Activity Data: Steps, active energy, exercise minutes, and movement patterns
• Heart Rate: Resting heart rate and heart rate variability
• Mindfulness: Meditation and mindfulness session data

Important: All HealthKit data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We only access this data locally to provide you with personalized insights and recommendations.

1.2 User-Generated Data

We collect and store the following data you create within the app:

• Mood Entries: Your mood scores, emojis, notes, and timestamps
• Micro Habits: Habit titles, descriptions, completion status, and streaks
• Water Intake: Water consumption logs and daily goals

• AI Coach Conversations: Your messages and questions to the AI coach

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Most of your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms:

• HealthKit data remains in the Health app
• App data is stored in encrypted local storage
• Your device's security features protect this data

3.2 iCloud Storage

If you enable cloud sync (Premium feature), your data is stored in your private iCloud database:

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Only you can access your private iCloud data
• We cannot access your iCloud data

OpenAI API: When you use the AI Coach feature, your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate responses. According to OpenAI's data usage policy:

• Your conversations are not used to train OpenAI's models
• Data is retained for 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deleted

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

You can disable cloud sync at any time in the app settings. This will:

• Stop syncing new data to iCloud
• Keep existing data on your device
• Not delete data already in iCloud (you must do this manually)

6. Children's Privacy

Forge AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

• Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active

• iCloud Data: Remains in your iCloud until you manually delete it
